The short version: when Suddenly Needed launches, many of the product links on this site will be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes which products the crowd votes to the top.
What This Means
Suddenly Needed participates (or will participate) in affiliate programs operated by retailers and affiliate networks. When you click an outbound product link on our site and complete a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission for the referral.
Our Principles
- No pay-to-play curation. Products surface through community submissions and votes — not because a merchant paid for placement.
- No price markup. Affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer out of their margin. You pay the same price you would pay going to the retailer directly.
- Clear labeling. This disclosure is linked in the footer of every page, and product click-outs are identified as potentially commissionable links.
